Tasting Notes
Ruby red color with bright highlights. Intense aromas of ripe black fruit such as plum and blackberry are perceived, along with notes of cassis and currants. Subtle spicy notes and hints of tobacco and vanilla can also be appreciated from its gentle oak aging. On the palate, this wine is characterized by its medium structure. The tannins are soft and round, providing a velvety sensation on the palate. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation of freshness.
Location and altitude: 40 km south of the city of Mendoza, at 950 meters above sea level.
Climate: 200 mm of annual rainfall. Semi-arid and windy climate. Cold winters and warm summers. Significant temperature variation between day and night.
Soil: Deep silty loam.
Wine style: Fresh fruity notes such as plums. Medium structure and smooth tannins.
