Tasting Notes
Red with violet hues. The nose reveals intense, fruity aromas of ripe plums, black cherries, and blackberries. Spicy notes of black pepper and cloves also emerge. The palate is juicy and balanced with soft, round tannins. The fruit remains persistent on the palate. It also presents subtle notes of toffee and vanilla from its short aging in oak.
Location and Altitude: 40 km south of the city of Mendoza, at 950 meters above sea level
Climate: 200 mm of annual rainfall. Semi-arid and windy climate. Cold winters and warm summers. Wide temperature range between day and night
Soil: Deep silty loam
Wine Style: Fresh fruity notes such as plums, with medium structure and soft tannins
