Tasting Notes
Deep garnet red color with violet highlights. Aromas of ripe black fruits and spicy notes of black pepper, cedar, and cigar box are perceived. This is a well-structured and very elegant wine. It has soft, round tannins and a long, persistent finish. It is a powerful and concentrated wine, with firm yet elegant tannins and a very balanced natural acidity that makes it a vibrant wine.
Location and Altitude: 20 km south of the city of Mendoza, at 1,050 meters above sea level
Climate: 250 mm of annual rainfall. Wide thermal amplitude, low humidity, and high luminosity
Soil: Alluvial soil derived from water erosion of the Andes Mountains. Deep sandy loam with rounded stones at about one meter deep. Loose structure and highly permeable
Wine Style: Complex and deep wines with sweet tannins
